History

The Wildcat Foundation was established in 1998 to enhance the academic, cultural, social and athletic development of the students of the Mechanicsburg Area School District and its surrounding community.  The Mechanicsburg Area School District includes the Boroughs of Mechanicsburg and Shiremanstown and Upper Allen Township. This District currently operates five elementary school buildings, a middle school and a senior high school, with a student population of approximately 4,000.
