Mission
Mechanicsburg Recreation Department strives to provide a wide variety of programs in recreation and leisure, as well as adult-developmental programs, for individuals of all ages and abilities. The Department contributes to the community by developing and maintaining parks and other recreational facilities that beautify and serve the Mechanicsburg area.
Vision
The Recreation Department of Mechanicsburg, Shiremanstown, and Upper Allen in cooperation with the respective boroughs, townships, and organizations within the communities, enhance the quality of life, and work together to accomplish our mission.

OFFICE is the second set of doors on your right (back of building)
From route 15 – take S. Market St. (rt. 114) into town (1-2 miles)
past Sheetz. S. Market St. bears to the left; you turn right on Shepherdstown Rd. Back of school will be on your left; turn into the back parking lot.
From route 81 and Carlisle Pike – take S. York St. into Mechanicsburg (approximately 6-7 miles). Continue on York St. (through three traffic lights). Turn left at four way stop signs at W. Marble St. Turn right onto S. Market St. Go two blocks and turn left at E. Elmwood Ave. ( the front of the school will be on your right). Turn right at Shepherdstown Rd. Turn right into the back of the school parking lot.
From Trindle Rd (Camp Hill) – from Camp Hill, Trindle Rd. becomes Main St. when entering the town. Stay on Main St. until you come to S. Market St. and turn left. Go five blocks and turn left on E. Elmwood Ave (school is on your right). Turn right on Shepherdstown Rd. Turn right into the back of the school parking lot.
