2. A Mechanicsburg Area School District Affiliation Agreement approved by the Board of School Directors must be on file and current within five years from the date of approval. If one is not currently established, we will review the request and potential proposed agreement. If an agreement is required, Mechanicsburg Area School District will provide the establishment with an Affiliation Agreement that has been reviewed and approved by our solicitors.
3. The University/College will sign the Affiliation Agreement and submit it to our Human Resource’s Office for the next upcoming school board meeting. The School Board reviews each affiliation agreement request and if approved, the Superintendent will sign the agreement.
4. The Human Resources office will send a copy of the signed agreement to the University/College for records.
5. Once all Affiliation Agreements are established, the University/College will work directly with our Human Resources team to review each placement request.
6. The HR Team will work internally with our departments and buildings to identify the appropriate host teacher to meet all necessary placement requirements by the University/College. Once established, the HR Team will communicate the confirmed placement and connect all parties to finalize the necessary information and details.
7. The University/College will collect and maintain all appropriate clearance documents required such as: Act 34 (State Police Clearance, Act 151 (Child Abuse Clearance), Act 114 (FBI Clearance) and a Negative TB Test (not older than three months).
8. The University will have all Student Placements complete a Social Media Form and submit them to the Human Resources office prior to the placement.
