MASD Health Monitoring Tool
 
The MASD Health Monitoring Tool guides parents, students, staff, and visitors in determining whether they are well enough to come on district property and/or board MASD transportation.  Each column (identified by color) details a specific circumstance.  This tool receives regular updates to reflect federal, state, and local guidance.

Individual tests positive for

COVID-19

Individual is a “close contact” to someone who tests positive for COVID-19

 

 

 

Travel

Individual travels to a location identified by the PA Dept of Health as having a high level of COVID-19

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Level 1 Symptoms

 

If an individual experiences one or more of the symptoms below:

 

  •   Chills
  •   Congestion
  •   Sore Throat
  •   Onset of Severe Headache
  •   Diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

Level 2 Symptoms

 

If an individual experiences one or more of the symptoms below:

 

  •   One or more "Level 1 Symptoms" persisting for longer than 2 days
  • Temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher
  • New uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing
  • New loss or change in taste or smell
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

 

“Close contact” is defined as an individual who interacts with someone positive for COVID-19

 

  • ·   within 6 feet
 

AND

  • ·   for at least 15 consecutive minutes

 

 

 

As of March 1, 2021 the Pennsylvania Order for Mitigation Relating To Travel is no longer in effect. 

 

At this time, there is no requirement to quarantine following travel out-of-state nor is there a requirement to obtain a negative test result upon returning home from travel.

 

Travelers should still practice appropriate public health measures to slow the spread of COVID-19 such as masking, physical distancing, and hand hygiene.
