Education Majors
To be considered an Education Major Substitute, you must meet the criteria under one of the below categories:
Teacher Preparation Program Completer:
- must present a letter from the institution verifying successful completion of an approved teacher preparation program and completion of of all requirements for obtaining a bachelor's degree
- must present evidence that you have completed all required certification testing or are in the process of scheduling the testing
Prospective Teacher Substitute:
- currently enrolled in a PA-approved teacher preparation program
- have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours or equivalent
