Individuals intending to volunteer in school district activities that require interaction with students must be screened for tuberculosis.
According to PA. Code 23.44 the TB test shall be administered within 3 months prior to the date the school receives the form.
Per MASD policy, this screening is an entry requirement and does not need to be repeated on an annual basis unless there is a gap of more than one year in your volunteer service.
If you are a current volunteer and have verification of a TB test on file, you need not have another test done. Please simply indicate on your Volunteer Information Sheet that we have your TB test information on file.
