The 2022-23 school year is my 31st in public education and my 16th at MASD. When I began my career as a first grade teacher, I never imagined I'd someday spend my time coaching teachers, but I love what I do and am so grateful for the path that has led me here. I draw on the experiences of those years in the classroom daily. In my role, I am privileged to support new elementary teachers with classroom management, instructional strategies, and more. In addition, I work with teachers from K-12 to support the effective use of technology in the classroom.

My husband and I are the proud parents of two MASD graduates. Joe (MASH Class of 2008) is a Health and Physical Education teacher at MASH. He and his wife, Jenna, are the parents of our grandchildren, Oliver and Zayda. Nick (MASH Class of 2009) serves in the U.S. Space Force and is currently stationed in Colorado. When I'm not at school, I love to spend time with my family (especially my grandchildren!) and friends, read, hike, do crossword puzzles, and watch the birds at my backyard birdfeeders.
