💚 LOOK WHO’S BACK… // That Mr. Grinch couldn’t stay away and was up to his silly antics once again — this time at Broad Street Elementary School. With a few friends by his side, he stirred up even more smiles and laughter along the way.

🎵 MUSIC THAT MOVED THE ROOM // MASH senior Marabeth Duggan recently delivered a stunning soprano solo during a special concert with the Central Pennsylvania Symphony, performing “Silent Night” in Dr. Leo Nester’s arrangement alongside Maestro Stephen Czarkowski on solo ’cello and the CPS string orchestra.

Equally impressive was the MASH Concert Chorale, led by Gordon Kaslusky, which joined the symphony for two pieces and then took the spotlight with three performances of their own.

From soloist to ensemble, our Wildcats represented the very best of musical excellence and collaboration.

💬 Sometimes the most important conversations happen at the lunch table. That's why Officer Mark takes time to connect with students and build trust and relationships, helping ensure our schools remain places where students feel comfortable, supported, and part of the Wildcat community. Thank you for being part of the team, Officer Mark! #WildcatPride

👔 UPPER ALLEN UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT // Students and staff at Upper Allen Elementary School held a special spirit day by dressing just like Mr. McIntosh — and the smiles said it all. From matching outfits to big laughs, it was a heartfelt (and fun) way to celebrate a principal who has made a lasting impact on so many students and staff.

As Mr. McIntosh prepares to retire after a truly beautiful career in education, our Wildcats are showing their appreciation the best way they know how: together, with joy, gratitude, and a whole lot of school spirit. 🐾💜

📸 Special thanks to staff at Upper Allen for capturing these memories!

🔌🧠 FUTURE-FOCUSED WILDCATS AT WORK // MASH students recently stepped into real-world career experiences through a variety of career exploration opportunities. Some explored how physical therapists use neuromuscular electrical stimulators at Central Penn College’s Health Services career exploration event, while others successfully wired a three-way electrical switch board at a career event hosted by the Independent Electrical Contractors.

These real-world experiences are just a snapshot of the many career exploration opportunities helping our future focused Wildcats discover interests, build skills, and imagine what’s next. 💜

📸 Shoutout to Jeff Luttermoser, MASH Graduation Project Coordinator and Internships & Cooperative Education Supervisor, for capturing these moments in action.

TWO-HOUR DELAY // Due to the possibility of a refreeze, all Mechanicsburg Area School District schools will be operating on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Special shoutout to our crews at MASD and the road crews in our local municipalities and PennDOT for all of their hard work in making sure roads, parking lots, and sidewalks are passable and safe for our Wildcats!

🧦 HEY ASHLEY, YOU KNOCKED OUR SOCKS OFF // When a family needed extra support with paperwork, Transportation Director Ashley Warzynski stepped in with patience and care. She walked them through each step, helped with data entry, and made sure they felt seen, supported, and connected. It’s moments like these that bring the Wildcat Way to life. Thank you, Ashley! 💜

🏗️💜 BUILDING BIG DREAMS // Our new Architecture Centers at Northside and Broad Street are officially open — and the joy, creativity, and “ah-ha” moments inside are something special.

From exploring architectural marvels to designing their own creations, our young Wildcats are collaborating, problem-solving, and persevering with excitement and pride. Art Teacher Rachel Connell says watching students find their spark has been truly unforgettable.

A heartfelt thank you to our friends at the Wildcat Foundation for bringing these learning spaces to life through their grant program. The impact is already being felt.

🐾🎤 WILDCATS WITH A VOICE // Last night, four of our young Wildcats from Northside Elementary School took the mic at the Board of School Directors meeting to share how their learning is growing through CKLA.

Speaking at a board meeting is tough even for adults — but Charlotte, Kamiyah, Evelyn, and Audrey showed incredible poise, confidence, and heart. We couldn’t be prouder of their bravery and their excitement for learning. 📚

Way to go, Wildcats. 💜

🧦 HEY KAIT, YOU KNOCKED OUR SOCKS OFF // Big cheers for Kait Dolan, 2nd grade teacher and chair of Upper Allen's staff Social Committee, whose leadership is elevating connection and belonging across the building.

From thoughtful goal-setting to creating intentional opportunities for staff to engage and recharge together, Kait’s impact is unmistakable. In fact, her work has been so impactful that Dr. Bitz dropped by an after-school music trivia event to surprise her with a special pair of Wildcat socks.

Thank you, Kait, for bringing our staff together and strengthening our Wildcat community. 💜🐾

🎉 UPDATE: SHE'S PRINCETON-BOUND // We recently introduced you to Chelsea Guan, a MASH Senior who was named a 2025 QuestBridge National College Match Finalist. WE'VE GOT AN AMAZING UPDATE! Chelsea got word that she has officially matched through the program — earning a full four-year scholarship to Princeton University! 🐾➡️🐯

QuestBridge connects outstanding students with life-changing educational opportunities at some of the nation’s top colleges, and Chelsea truly shines. At MASH, she’s a leader in every way — co-captain of Speech & Debate, a contributor to the school newspaper, a talented violinist, and a dedicated Link Leader supporting our younger Wildcats.

We are so proud of her incredible accomplishment and can’t wait to watch her continue to soar as a future Tiger. 📚

🎓 FUTURE-FOCUSED WILDCATS // Our Broad Street Wildcats took another exciting step toward their futures yesterday when they welcomed Dr. Bowman, MASD Assistant Superintendent, to share insights about his career and the many paths that lead to making a difference in a school community.

Guided by our incredible Student Ambassadors and supported by Dr. Mandia, students asked thoughtful questions and explored what it means to find a career that sparks passion and purpose.

Opportunities like these help our Wildcats see that their futures are wide open — and that with curiosity, confidence, and hard work, they can go anywhere. 🚀
